Hello beautiful people! Gosh I’ve missed this! I’ve  been so busy with school starting that I didn’t even have time to blog, so sorry 🙂

Since tons of people are going back to school I filmed a quick “Back to School” get ready with me video up on my channel! I’ll show ya’ll what I used on here and some pictures, but once again, it’s so much easier to watch on a video!

Since it’s been SOOOOO hot and humid outside I’ve been trying to stay away from heavy foundations and stick with tinted moisturizers. Recently I’ve been loving Stila’s Sheer Color tinted moisturizer in shade fair ($34). I’ve never been a fan of tinted moisturizers because I always wanted more coverage, but lately I can’t get enough of the stuff! It’s just perfect for this cruel Florida weather.

In my last video I wasn’t sure if I loved the Benefit They’re Real Push-Up Liner, but that’s totally changed too! I haven’t touched anything else for the past week or so. It’s the blackest liner I’ve used and it does not move. I repeat: IT DOESN’T MOVE. Honest to goodness I have to scrub my eyes to get this stuff off… Some people might not love that, but I can’t stand when my eyeliner runs down my face and this stuff stays put for as long as you could possibly need.

Bottom line, I’m obsessed and wish I could give this to everyone in the world so their life could be changed like mine. Lame, I know, but this is what get’s me excited okay?!

***Don’t kill me Eric, it’s funny

If you haven’t heard of EgraceB, chances are you’re living under a rock in the middle of nowhere… For those of you that know, she has been a very dear friend of mine for three years now. Among the many things that stand out about her are her love of all things gold and maroon which is what inspired this look. She wears a signature cat eye almost daily just to prove she’s a classy girl but watch out for her attitude cus it could kill.

This look is super simple to achieve while looking like you’ve spent hours on your makeup. The eyes are composed of three shades and eyeliner and can all be done using your finger. How easy is that?! The hardest part is the eyeliner, which to this day I still have trouble with. I’d definitely classify this as a night time look, but if you’re feeling bold wear it all day long.

IMG_5736

I used both the Lorac Pro and Pro 2 Palette for this look ($42). From left to right the shades are: Garnet, Cool Grey, and Gold. I used these just because I had them, but any brand will work just fine. However, if you’re looking for a great palette to start off with, I’d definitely purchase one of these. You get 16 shades, 8 matte and 8 shimmer and they blend great together.

IMG_5741

As you can see in the photo of the makeup above, I first put the grey shade in my crease and blended it out. Next, taking my finger and patting it in the gold, I placed that all over the lid. With shimmery shades I always find it best to use your finger because I find that leaves you with the best color payoff. Last, I took the garnet color and placed it on the outer third of my eye with my finger. Once all the colors were down, I took a medium size fluffy brush and blended it all out.

IMG_5752

DO NOT pay attention to the eyebrows, I think I need to get them done soon…

As always, just put on your favorite mascara and do the rest of your face makeup! I contoured quite a bit just because it added drama to the look.

Sticking with the EgraceB theme, I added a dark berry lip color to tie everything together. The specific color is Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Shame ($22).

As always, thank you for reading! And if you’d like to check out EgraceB’s own blog, go to www.egraceb.wordpress.com

 IMG_5683

Hey guys! Today I felt like doing something a little more extreme and colorful. I used the Urban Decay Electric Pressed Pigment Palette ($49) for most of the colors on the eyelid. These shades are crazy bright and in your face, so they may seem like a little much for the price. HOWEVER! I swear to you these colors are way more wearable than they look. Because they are pigments and not eyeshadows, the colors are bright on their own without having to add any kind of base. They blend amazingly well and are very buttery in texture. There’s a wide variety of colors to come up with as many looks as you want. If you’re looking for something to give you that wow factor, this is definitely the palette for you!

Eyes:

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion $20

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Cucumber and Baby Blue $4.50

Urban Decay Electric Palette shades Gonzo, Chaos, Thrash, Freak, and Thrash $49

Loreal Voluminous Miss Manga Mascara $7.99

Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Mousse in Taupe $28

Face:

Maybelline Fit Me Foundation in 125 Nude Beige $7.99

Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder in Light $34

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in 210 Fair $9.99

Benefit Hoola Bronzer $28

Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder in 330 Toffee $7.99

Maybelline Face Studio Master Hi-Lght Blush in Nude $9.99

Lips:

NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick in Circe $4.00

Maybelline ColorSensational Color Elixir Lip Gloss in Mandarin Rapture $8.99

IMG_5684

If you want this look, this is how you’ll get it!

1) Place a neutral light brown throughout the crease to act as a transition shade. This will ensure that the eyeshadows blend easily all the way through

2) Take a creamy pencil like NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil and dab it across the eyelid. I used Baby Blue in the outer portion of the eye and Cucumber on the inner 2/3. Blend these gently with your finger to give a soft look.

3) Finally get into the Electric Palette! Take Freak, a shimmery green and place it directly over the green cream pencil. Blend Next, take Chaos, a bright royal blue, and put it over the baby blue shade. You want to use a little of this at first then build up the intensity. I put this on the outer “v” of my eye and blended it through the crease. Since these eyeshadows are so great it takes almost no time to blend them out.

4) After you’ve gotten rid of all the harsh lines, grab Thrash and pop it in the inner corner of the eye.

5) Last for the eyelid, you’ll want to mix some of Gonzo and Chaos together to deepen up the outer corner. If you’d like to keep it more toned down, you can skip this step. Again, blend everything out so it gets nice and smokey.

6) If you want to add drama to the lower lash line, just take a small brush with any of the colors previously used and place it right below the lashes. I used Thrash, but it would also look gorgeous with Chaos.

After you throw on some mascara, you’re done! If anyone wants a more in depth tutorial of this look, just let me know and I can show you step by step! Hope you enjoy this look, just a little something different!

Stay sassy : ) Xoxo

This could be my favorite daytime smokey eye look. It has just the right amount of drama without stepping out like a drag queen in the middle of the day (unless that’s you’re thing, you go Glen Coco!). In essence, smokey eyes really are not that difficult, they just take lots of time to get right. With this being a neutral eye without adding any super harsh blacks or browns, it’s perfect for any beginner. As when paling your face makeup, the most important thing to remember when doing these looks is to BLEND!!!

The whole eye (shadow) look was made using only the Lorac Pro palette ($42). This is honestly such a gorgeous and versatile palette. It has 8 matte shades and 8 shimmer shades that you can mix and match a million ways. The shadows are really pigmented and have such a buttery quality to them. Yes, buttery. By this I just mean that they are easy to blend and go on smoothly across the eyelid. For this particular look, I used White, Taupe, Mauve, Sable, and Light Bronze.

IMG_5501

As usual, the best thing to do is to apply an eye primer to the lid. I use Urban Decay Primer Potion ($20). This is by far my favorite primer out of anything. The shadow will last all day without budging, which is exactly what you want. Next I just popped on Ulta Color Coat cream eyeshadow in Rose Gold ($8). This isn’t absolutely necessary, it just gives the shadows a little extra to stick to.

IMG_5505

Next, taking a small crease brush, I took the color Taupe and placed it in the inner and outer corner of the eye. Using the brush to buff the color in these spots creates a “sandwich” effect on the eye, leaving the middle open for a bright pop of shimmer. I know this looks super messy and ugly, but you’re going to blend it again later.

IMG_5511

Taking the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Sparkle Nude ($4.50), I dotted it in the middle of the eye to give the next shadow a good base. Dab this on with your finger to slightly blend out the edges.

IMG_5517

Again, you’re going to want to blend everything out. The best way to do this is to angle the brush downward (by holding your hand at a higher position than your eye) and use windshield wiper motions. This makes blending just a little easier and less time consuming. You really have to work at it though, you do not want any harsh lines, just a soft haze. I recommend using a medium size fluffy brush to do this, it produces the nicest result.

IMG_5520 IMG_5513

After that, take the original brush and dab into a darker color brown. I mixed Mauve and Sable together to get the shade I wanted. You want to focus this only on the outer portion of your eye, stopping about 1/3 of the way in or right where the shimmer begins. This will just give a little more dimension to the eye and give you that smokey look. Again, take the time to blend all of these shadows out but make sure not to go over the shimmer!

IMG_5525

I know it gets annoying, but taking the time to blend really makes all the difference in the world. All you need to do is rock the brush back and forth to get rid of any harsh lines.

IMG_5534

After all your blending is done, you should have something like this! Add a couple coats of mascara to your top and bottom lashes and you’re all done!  It is totally wearable during the day and can easily be transformed into a night look just by adding a little more of the darker color into the crease.

IMG_5471

For a little something extra, I did a Kylie Jenner inspired lip. To get this look, I first lined my lips in a neutral nude shade. Then taking a slightly darker color, I placed lipstick on the outer parts of the lips leaving the middle blank. I used a super nude shade and placed that right in the middle to make the illusion of having fuller lips.

As always, I hope you guys liked this and that it helped! If anyone tries to re-create the look please show me pictures! It makes me so happy that so many people are paying attention to this, I had no idea I’d get so much support. Thank you guys, it means so much! Xoxo 🙂

For all of you who don’t have the time to sit in front of a mirror for 45 minutes to do a full face of makeup, this is for you! It’s perfect if you’re running late or just don’t feel like taking forever to get ready. I’ve added a primer to make the makeup last all day so you don’t even need to worry about touching up during the day. All you really need are 7 products, and even if that seems like a lot to you, I promise it’s the easiest and fastest thing to do.

These really are your basic makeup essentials: foundation, concealer, powder, mascara, and blush. I added the primer for a long-lasting effect and the brows because, well…they’re my thing.

IMG_5425 From left to right:

Lorac Cobra Mascara $20 — One of my new favorites! It’s extremely black and the brush is literally shaped like a cobra head which is perfect to curl the lashes.

Lorac POREfection Mattifying Face Primer $32 — I probably wouldn’t buy this on my own, I just had a sample lying around. I personally don’t think it’s worth the money. Any kind of primer will give your makeup staying power, it doesn’t have to be expensive.

Chanel Perfection Lumiere Foundation in shade 20 Beige $57 — Crazy expensive, I know… But this foundation stays all day and matches my skin tone perfectly. If you want a less expensive version, try Benefit ‘Hello Flawless!’ Oxygen Wow ($36) or Maybelline Fit Me ($7.99)

Maybelline Master Hi-Light Blush in shade 10 Nude ($9.99) — The 6 shades in this line are absolutely beautiful. They are quite shimmery, hence the ‘highlight’, but if this is the only product you’ll be putting on your cheeks, it will give you a healthy glow.

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer in 210 Fair ($9.99) — My all-time favorite drugstore concealer. I use this every day because it’s great for getting rid of those dark circles under your eyes. The foam tip is great for applying, but best blended in using your finger.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder ($34) — Again, this product is overpriced in my opinion. Yes it’s great at soaking up excess oil, but there are a lot of comparable products out there. Try Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finisher ($12.99)

Benefit Gimme Brow ($22) — Technically, this product isn’t needed if you’re trying to get out the door and your brows aren’t that important to you. However, I feel completely naked without anything on my brows so this gel instantly fills in a lot of the sparse areas.

If I wasn’t doing this to help you guys out, I probably wouldn’t post this on the internet…But if you wake up looking anything like me, I feel your pain.

IMG_5371 Cute right? No worries, we’ll fix this.

First, grab whichever foundation you’ll be using and dot it on your face. Make sure to get some on your neck so you don’t have that awesome foundation line along your jaw. IMG_5375

It may be a little hard to see since this foundation matches so perfectly, but it’s there. Just blend it out and you’ll get an even skin tone to start working with!

IMG_5378

Next it’s time to conceal. I’d still suggest using the upside down triangles to highlight the under eye area, but if you don’t want to put that much work into it you don’t have to. Add a little wherever you feel like you need extra coverage or wherever you want to highlight.

Let me tell you how hard it is to take yourself seriously when you look like this… probably took me 10 pictures to not laugh

IMG_5384

Blend, blend, blend! This is always going to be the most important thing you can do no matter what you’re putting on. You don’t want any harsh lines on your face, just a nice gradient.

IMG_5386

Time to set with powder. This just keeps everything in place without you having to worry about your makeup melting off in the middle of the day. Take your brush or powder puff and tap along the surface of your skin. You want to be gentle and use tapping motions in order to press the product into your skin. If you’d like to buff and use circular motions, still be cautious and gentle enough to not take off any of the makeup you’ve already applied.

IMG_5390

To add some color, grab any blush you’d like and place it on the apples of your cheeks. I always blend my blush towards my hairline just so you don’t have weird circles on your face. It’s about having a wash of color over your skin, not looking like a doll. IMG_5392

Here’s the optional eyebrow step. Just take any brow gel and comb through the brows. This will just fill in any little spots without going through an entire brow routine. If you’re happy with your brows as they are, you can just skip this and move right onto mascara.

 IMG_5397IMG_5402

Next just add your favorite mascara and you’re done! I always put one coat on my lower lashes because it makes the eyes appear larger and more awake. I’m a total mascara junkie so the more the merrier for me. If this isn’t your thing, just skip it!

IMG_5418

Here’s the finished look! Simple but still beautiful. This should take you about 10 minutes so everyone can fit this into their schedules. Of course you can always add and take away some steps, but this is what I feel should be the bare minimum. Hope this helps some of you! Xoxo

Alright so there aren’t actually 50 shades, but it’s so much catchier than 14 shades…

This is just a little collection of lipstick swatches and examples of what they look like on! I also included a few little tricks to get your lips nice n’ gorgeous. Personally, my lips are my favorite part of my face (okay maybe second to my eyebrows), so I really like to play them up whenever I can. Adding a lip color can really change the whole look of your makeup and bring it all together. As you’ll see I love nudes and berry shades, but there are literally millions of colors out there.

First, it’s soo important that you use a lip liner! Even if it’s just a nude shade, it will make a huge difference. You’ll have a definite stopping point so all you have to do is color in the lines. It also helps the lipstick from bleeding onto the skin so you don’t get those little feathery lines on your face.

IMG_5322

I also suggest going over your lips with any type of concealer or foundation. This just neutralizes the lip tone so you get the greatest color payoff from whichever product you want to apply. It’s not absolutely necessary, but you will get a more intense color if you add this tiny step.

Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick ($7.49)

This is a super creamy formula that is ultra hydrating on the lips. It leaves you with a glossy finish and a decent wash of color. It is not as opaque as I would like, but the color is still vibrant.

IMG_5323  IMG_5353

shade 905 Brazen Berry

IMG_5325  IMG_5354

shade 900 Hot Plum

NYX Extra Creamy Round Lipstick ($4.00)

This could be one of my favorite lipstick brands, which is very surprising for the price. The shades are really pigmented and go on ridiculously creamy. Again, they have a more satin finish so they do not dry out your lips, but give the effect of wearing a gloss (sort of). They feel beautiful on the lip and for $4 each, they are a great product to own.

IMG_5327   IMG_5356

shade LSS522 Circe (one of my favorite nudes)

IMG_5326  IMG_5355

shade LSS583A Haute-Melon *the picture does not do this color justice, it is a very bright coral/orange color

IMG_5336  IMG_5362

shade LSS516A Chic Red

***TIP! I went way outside of my natural lip line, but that’s an easy fix! Grab a concealer and just trace the bottom of the lip and blend it out. Quick and simple fix to make sure you don’t look like you have Lindsay Lohan’s over injected lips… sorry Linds. IMG_5337IMG_5338 IMG_5340

Chanel Rouge Coco ($35)

Whenever I’m wearing this, I cannot help but reapply it. Not because it fades quickly, but it has the best formula. It is so creamy and soothing that you may want to grab the lipstick instead of your Chapstick It’s seriously that good

IMG_5329  IMG_5357

shade 05 Mademoiselle

MAC Lipstick ($16)

I am not crazy about this formula, but the color is practically famous. This is probably the most nude shade I have ever worn, but it has its cons. Personally I find the lipstick a little drying while leaving a strange tingling on the lips. This could totally just be me, but who knows.

***TIP! This shade is perfect for popping on the center of your lips to add fullness. Just dab some on the center of the top and bottom lip, rub together and voila! Instantly plumper looking lips.

IMG_5330  IMG_5358

shade A42 Myth

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21)

This is a very unique product. You get very intense color, some shine, and it has the ability to last all day. It’s basically a stain, lipstick, and gloss all in one. Too Faced has found a one-stop shop to the perfect lip so if you want something incredibly simple, this is definitely for you. One last great thing – the shades are named directly according to the color, what you read is what you get.

IMG_5334 IMG_5361

 shade Melted Violet

IMG_5332 IMG_5359

shade Melted Nude

IMG_5333  IMG_5360

shade Melted Peony

Revlon Moon Drops Lipstick ($9.49)

Just a little something weird: If you love the true smell of a lipstick, this particular one is dead on. Along with a hydrating formula, this brand always provides great color payoff and a long wear.

IMG_5341  IMG_5363

shade 712 Hot Coral

Chanel Rough Allure ($35)

Can we just take a moment to admire the one and only Coco for a second? Okay good. Nothing from this brand is ever disappointing. This has to be one of the longest-wearing lipsticks I have ever put on! It will honestly last through just about anything without ever feeling like it’s drying out. The colors are absolutely gorgeous. I mean what could possibly be classier than Chanel lipstick?!

IMG_5342 ***TIP! To get a perfect Cupid’s bow (the V shape at the top of your lip), take the tip of the lipstick and draw an X. This will get right into the tips of the bow and end up ***flawless each and every time.

IMG_5344 IMG_5364

 shade 104 Passion

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick ($5.79)

This is another great drugstore line for those of you who don’t want to spend tons of money on expensive lipsticks. In my personal opinion, this is the best drugstore lipstick to purchase if you’re looking for something that you don’t need to reapply. This product lasts hours without needing to be touched up.

IMG_5345  IMG_5365

shade 124 Bordeaux

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick ($22)

I call this the “special occasion” lipstick. It is so luxurious and vibrant that it’s almost too good to waste day to day. With over 20 shades to choose from, it would be impossible not to find one you’re in love with.

IMG_5347 IMG_5366

shade Shame

Just like Annie said, you’re never fully dressed without a smile! Show off those lips ladies, and let me know what some of your favorites are! Xoxo
