Eyebrows should be sisters, not twins!

I have to admit, ever since this eyebrow thing got crazy popular, I’ve become obsessed with having good brows. Mine aren’t naturally full and gorgeous (still kinda bitter about that…), but luckily there are some amazing products out there to help the less fortunate girls of the world. Seriously, I promise you that taking the time to do your brows will instantly give your face more definition and boost your confidence. Like I said, there are some amazing things out there, but I have found my holy grail of all eyebrow products:

From top to bottom:

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz in Chocolate ($21)

Chanel Eclat Lumiere in Beige Tendre ($40)

Benefit High Brow ($20)

Benefit Gimme Brow in Medium/Deep ($22)

****If there is ONE brow product you need in your life, it’s the Brow Wiz!!!

It’s now awful, but these are my brows with zero products. Sparse in a few places, especially at the top and towards the front.

First & most importantly, you need to comb through your brows with a spoolie brush! This gets the hairs where they need to be in order to make the most natural shape. I use the Brow Wiz pencil throughout the whole brow, keeping consistent pressure and using little feather-like strokes.

This is how it should look after only applying the brow pencil:

Next (and this is totally optional!), I run across the top of my brows with the Chanel Eclat Lumiere. This just cleans up the top of the brows and gives a straight line in case you’ve made any mistakes. Any kind of concealer of foundation would work, it doesn’t have to be anything expensive.

Using Benefit High Brow, I carve out the bottom of the brow to continue the clean line from the top

After blending out the lines, this is how it should look! Once again, these two steps are totally optional and not always necessary.

Look at how much different the two brows look! I cannot stress enough how important it is to take the time to actually fill in your eyebrows, it makes a world of difference.

After completing both brows, this is the end result:

– Brows are sisters, not twins! They SHOULD NOT be identical!

– Bold brows are great, just make sure not to turn your face into a cartoon character, not cute

– Play around! Practice makes perfect

Good luck! 🙂
